I have not paid for advertising - Check my results

I also don't pay for advertising..just via word of mouth promotion and my site gets pretty good traffic and revenue earned monthly..

I submit my site monthly to,
350 article directory's
300 free 30 day classified sites

And i have submitted to
120 international search engines
250 directory's

I submit to directory's as and when they come up i have also listed my site in about 20 social bookmark sites.

 

I also Started my website da-pirates.com on jan16th

Am also using FREE Advertising Methods

and have better earnings than u

Nice stats whats your method to the free advertising.

 

I have done paid advertising and free advertising and I prefer free advertising because I know that with paid advertising there is a high chance that I will be loosing money rather than gaining it. This is different with free advertising.

If you want to make a good amount of money with your site, you must invest in advertisement or else no money will come in. You must give to get. Thats what i realized a while ago. So i guess many can contradict me, but i think advertising raises the rate of income.

 

What kind of free advertising? Can you share? I havent found any that were good. Let me know via PM if you can plz.

Paid advertising:
is something that you have to do much better than free advertising. The reasons for this is because you have to make a return on your spending and advertising is just like an investment. I have tried web directories at first which were not that good. Adbrite and Adengage, the traffic is mostly from countries that I don't want. Adwords, the price is to high, etc.

Free Advertising:
The best way that I have found to get free traffic is from SEO. The way to do this is to get alot of back links, get your site older as the age of the domain helps, use different anchor text, etc.

There are many other ways of getting free traffic. A good one that I have found is forums related to your site. I get some of the most targeted traffic from these.

Articles is something that I have done also, it is not all that good for alot of traffic, but as time has gone by there has been many more new article directories coming online where they have all included most of my articles, the more there are the more links you get on the web = more exposure, which is all good really.

The key to free traffic though is not easy. It is not like just putting your link out on the web and getting traffic and making money. You have to make your site attractive. You have to make your users want to come back and also tell their friends about your site. This helps again in increasing your free traffic. Make sure you keep updating your sites content daily, make your site look good, make it look unique. Everything helps. If you don't have a good designed site or your sites content is not all that good or doesn't update regularly then you are just getting free traffic from free sources and not getting as much benefit from it as you could.

 

That traffic is quite good considering that you went from 0 uniques to over 10,000 in about 2 months.

Also the traffic is consistent through the rest of the months. Althoug the stats would look better if the traffic was gaining every month instead of being consistent. It's better than it going down though.

I don't use paid advertising. I have found that my sites take a while to take off just through legwork and natural links, but once they get going they have kept growing.

I think that you get faster return if you pay for advertising, but it isn't a requirement.
