    I have a site that’s a sub domain, I don’t own the domain
    http://naturalcures.gomangosteen.net

Now I have a .com (not real site) its one im working on for my dad http://www.billfrovichelectric.com/ its forwarded to http://naturalcures.gomangosteen.net

    Now my questions is
Which is better for the SE’s and getting natural traffic?
A forwarded domain or a sub domain

I like the .com but with it being forwarded all the pages have the same title & meta info and every link shows the .com address.

Im looking at promoting this site via directory submissions, article submissions and press release's..
Now I know most directories WON’T accept sub domains.
Not sure about article submissions and press release..

    Thanks for your time.

If you forward a domain then the actual web page is locked in a frameset which is why the url in the address bar keeps static while you navigate the site.

If you click View Source (from your menu bar rather than with the right click) you will see th main page with the frameset. This is what the search engines see rather than your actual content.

The best thing is to either move your site to the .com or 301 redirect from the .com to the other site without using the frame.

Alternatively I think most directories allow subdomains but not folders so you may be OK. Now is the time to decide on what url you are going to use in the future and stick to it before you do your seo.

Whereever the .com name is registered you should be able to log in and alter how its forwarded.

So if i cant do a 301 redirect, should i stick with just using a subdomain?
    or the forwarded domain?
