I have never received a check from Google...

...well that's because from day one I have the funds routed to my bank account, much faster and convenient than having a check and having to run to the bank every month to cash it and having to wait while it clears, especially when its over $10,000.

How many of you have direct deposit as opposed to check?

I had the choice when I got my account to have either of those two. Obviously I opted for the DD

 

finally got direct deposit setup in australia, whenever i get a check, it usually sat there for a while and i ended up not being able to find it for even longer, this way there is no chance for me to muck anything up

 

Having the cash routed to a bank account is much better. I can spend it faster

 

I signed up for direct deposit as soon it was available in australia

 

Of course DD,it's no doubt about this.

 

i wish i could do it by DD, but getting a patyment by cheque right now...

I got my first direct deposit today

 

After receiving my first cheque last month I've now opted to switch my earnings to direct deposit just for ease and not having to worry about lost mail, stolen mail etc, and having to wait for them to reissue a cheque.

I would highly recommend that everyone chose to receive their first payment as a cheque though, it's almost ceremonial, and it's a good feeling. That is when I realised what I was doing was real .

 

i got my first direct deposit today aswell, $850 smackeroos, next deposit will be $1500, cant wait to see what the one after that will be

 

If I was given a choice, I would choose for direct deposit too...

 

I wish this question was relevant for me... if it was then DD is the way. no lost checks, no queue hassle etc.

 

I love Direct Deposits. It saves a lot of time from traveling back and forth to the bank.

 

Although I don't make enough money yet, I use DD.

 

I like direct deposits too, but they are not always a solution

 

I prefer payment directly in my account. but it's not available here ...

 

havent made any money on it yet but i would prefer a check so I can see the look on the teller's face when i cash a BIG one.... one day that'll happen, hopefully soon
