I have more clicks than traffic. Any idea why?

CJ is showing that I am receiving hundreds of clicks per day. However, my traffic stats (analytics / statcounter ) is showing that I am receiving less than 50 hits per day.

Any idea where these hits are coming from?

*Side note - No sales (not really my concern)

Have it ever occurred to you that one person might be doing a lot of clicks (i.e.: your competitor trying to checkout what you promote)? Geezz!

Could be that....but depends on what you are selling. "Pogo-Clicking" (going back & forth from sponsor and back to your site) is always a possibility too.

I also don't think its too hard to find out what your competition is selling. If you have to click 50 times...chances are you aren't going to pose much of a threat. I can hover over links or just look at them to see what's going on. Plus if this is a recurring 'problem' you're having I would rule out 'competition'

Yeah, I know, it's not hard, I was just trying to give one out of many other possibilities.

I can't figure it out. I installed another counter on mysite (goingup) to see if the three match up.

It could be a competitor, but my site is diffidently not a threat to anyone at this time. Plus, why would a competitor just be clicking affiliate links on my site. Doesn't make much since.

Its really, really bothering me because I can't really narrow things down!

Is your website the only medium in which your links are posted?

I have a website and use PPC for different products and my CTR is pretty high.

It's click fraud -- or cj's data is screwed up

What do you mean by click fraud?
