Hey digital pointers! Just joined today and really glad I did. Some really great stuff in here. Anyways I just started this idea last month after building a few simple applications for myself, and wanted to see what you guys think. Basically it works best with offers where you get paid once a person has completed a free offer, given details etc. Like the ones you see on adultfriendfinder etc, where you get comission for every person who completes an offer. It also works to drive traffic to any website, and has increased my website conversion rate by over 40%. CPA conversion is about 80-90%. So here goes... I build an application like the one below. You can see a video of it in action: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AqNkm1xHWOc So you give it away on your website, upload it to torrent file sharing networks etc. To enable full functionality, the person has to complete a free offer, visit a website etc. I uploaded a version of DVD X Copy to pirate bay (which has been downloaded over 42,000 times) which peeps have o complete a free offer to get 'full' functionality. Of course these apps are merely clones, and I use server side redirects to take them to the free offers (maxbounty) so it looks like traffic from my website. I was thinking of selling these apps and just wondered - what would be the level of interest before I go and splash out on a fancy website etc??? Your comments are appreciated!
Great idea! I might try it, but I have no idea about creating an application, should I hire somebody?
