I have lost my websites page rank

    Hello,

    I am working on a website.When i was started the page rank of my website was 3.

    I have optimized my website. Keywords are preforming good in SERP.

    I am also submitting my website in web directories and doing link building for that but after doing these task my website page rank become zero.

    It's really horrible for me. Please give me your suggestions what should i do and what would be the reason about my page rank loss?????????
