...its really confusing compared to phpbb. I thought it also came with an album hack :(

Im looking for a few mods now

Album mod. Im looking for a picture rating plugin but any photo album will do
Chat room mod. Anything will do.
    Arcade/games mod.

Can i get any of these free? Does anyone use anything similar you can recommend? Thanks! :D

After reading all the things about VB, i can't wait until i can get a license.
I still have to wait for the money to get transferred.
I saw more then 1 album hack @ vbulletin.org and also noticed a chat hack.
Probably most of the hacks that phpBB has can be found there too but an expert could answer that one better then me.

The thing about phpbb is i knew what i was doing when editing all the code manually. With VB i cant really see the code on the screen i need to change. Its all done through plugins and menus which i find a bit annoying but i guess il get use to it.

Yea, i have been on that site for 2 days now and could not really find anything. I think i just found a chat mod that will cost me $5 but il do some more reading on that one.

ps: lol with VB you need to pay for everything. :p

    Thanks!

Yeh, they have a tool for it. It took me around 10 minutes. I got everything transferred appart from avatars and a few other minor bits.

Very easy. vB has IMPEX - which will convert most forums to vBulletin.

It takes a little bit of time to do, but follow the instructions and it'll be problem free.

Btw. I'm using the chat plugin on http://zindy.zone.dk/forum - also a recent convert from phpbb.

Vbulletin was confusing at first, but now (about 1 month later) that I'm beginning to understand it, I have no idea how I ever was satisfied with phpbb. The plugins are cool, theming the forum is pretty easy and the administration interface is so much better than phpbb.

You'll have things like build in rss feed, automaticly timed bans, post merging and thread splitting and I dunno what that'll all make your life much easier if your forum is a bit large.
