Hey. I am starting a new online community for forum owners. I have the domain name forumadmin.us. Is there any disadvantage of having a .us domain? I will still be able to get traffic from other countries as much as a .com? I was thinking that imageshack.us was a huge success and also came up in my search in google for image host. Please give me some help and advise. Thanks
No... Dont be in fear... domain extension does not rule the traffic... be assured if you are having good content you will get good traffic... hope this helps...
Not to put a damper on things but as far as I know only US residents could buy and use .US I remember buying one by mistake and had to get rid as I am not a US resident. I hope they have changed that rule for your sake. Paule
According to his location field he's in the US so he has nothing to worry about. Your domain has good search terms and its clear so there's no reason why it shouldn't be a success. Anyways, let me know when the community is online.. I'm interested in joining.
