yeah i would use it if it had a few

tip : go to ebay wou can get packs of scripts like 50 exlent scripts worth $10 each for $1.99 and if you give them away for free people will love your site (most of the packs come with resalerights and you need resale rights if you want to givethem away or you make your site illegal)

You need to fill it up with some content, add at least 100 scripts for a start.

People don't want to be the first ones to submit content.

Also, being a PHP developer myself, I see no reason for me to upload any of my work for free to such sites.

"Need some Scripts" lol. I know, You cant believe how hard it is to have people post their scripts for free?

To be honest with you I am not a programmer, or I would post some scripts myself.

The thing I truly can not understand is why someone would not want to post their script(s)? That is free advertising for them. Plus I have already started some advertising of the site. And if I can get some scripts on there I would promote it even more.

    :confused::confused::confused:

Philopoemen, help me understand the logic of your post? Why would you not want to get more free advertising to your scripts? I can understand if your scripts were for free, but if you are selling them for a price why not take advantage of yet another place to show them off at?

And how would your site help me sell my scripts, if I'm required to post them on your site? I cannot find any information on your site about the terms and conditions for posting a script. Nowhere is written that I can 'advertise' or 'earn money' by uploading them.

Also your page title is kinda funny: The net's largest PHP, CGI, Perl, and JavaScript and AJAX script collection and resource web portal

Philopoemen, you make some good points. As far as the header title. I was thinking ahead for the future.

As far as you submitting your script that is a direct link back to your site and scripts. I get nothing other than the fact that there is a script there for people to possibly purchase of yours. And having enough scripts starts to create traffic thus I may make money on advertising.

So the trade off is you post your script for sale. I bring traffic to them. You hopefully sell your scripts to them. They keep coming back for more.

You are correct in me getting a TOS together. I agree with that. Thanks.

So are you going to host the script itself (files, documentation, etc) or just a link back to the scripts on my site?

Guys, All this is, is a free PHP script directory. It is very much like Hot Scripts. But it is only for PHP related item's.

Please do not make it out to be any more than that. All you do is submit your script for free. It is like free advertising for you.

It's almost like I should charge a fee to post and I would probably have better luck. lol.

Really guys I am not trying to come off sarcastic, I guess I just thought this was going to be real black and white...You post...I advertise....I bring in traffic...You sell your scripts....I start getting mind share on the net...It becomes circular.

Hi Philopoemen, yes your post just links back to your scripts. phpmonster does not host anything. Does that help? Thanks.;)

Well, next time be more specific in your posts.
Also it would be nice to include this information on your site.

Also, CGI, PERL and AJAX are not really related to PHP. Do you have any programming experience?

Ok, the water is warm now. There have been a few people that have listed their scripts. Now you can get a better feel of how that looks. Thanks.

I would create some space between the descriptions and version/details information. Also, the visit button is not clear what you are visiting. I like the header a lot.

I added two of my scripts and am waiting for approval. I suggest breaking the main Scripts & Programs into several sub-categories now so you won't have to move all the scripts to their proper category later.

There's no reason you can't go to HotScripts.com and start adding scripts yourself. That would help populate your own directory.

    Good luck! :)
