I have a website, traineesolicitors.co.uk . I have around 6000 unique visitors per month but only generate about £4 a month in adwords. Am i not doing it right or is there a way of maximising clicks. I seem to be getting the traffic and people coming back but no real revenue. I am not a technical person, I bought the site as I was in recruitment at the time. I want to optimise it and make it better, it has a great domain and plenty of interest and members, but I don't get enough ad revenue to develop it further Any help or advice would be appreciated
Try landing page optimization best practices like in the following sources or wherever: - The 7 Deadly Sins of Landing Page Design - MarketingExperiments.com Then, since your resources are very limited, consider testing new ideas on your landing page with Google Website Optimizer or any other tool (which will probably cost you). Good luck
Hiiii.... May be it understanding problem, complicating landing page make it simple. Hire good web designer. Thanks.
Strategically place adverts. Your ads look like ads not like content text. If you know what I mean...
Some of the advertisements look very useless. Make them all something that a person would want to click.
and yes one thing more use text ads rather than image ads .....chances of clicks are more on text based ads
You need to check the source of your traffic, which keyword is getting better result and then work on long tail keywords that bring niche traffic and chances of better conversion.
what are you promoting on your website?..., if you are looking for conversions from adwords you need to pick the right keywords to get a sale from adwords..inorder to get a high quality score use your main keyword in title, description, posts..do not over stuff your keywords..You can use googlekeyword tool, google insights, adplanner, quantcast to target right audiences....
