I have headache spend one day install wordpress HELP!

    Nothing works i installed the normal Wordpress from the site with the normal

    WordPress database error: [Can't find FULLTEXT index matching the column list]
    SELECT MATCH(post_content, post_title) against ('wewewe') as score FROM wp_posts where id=3;

    First time i try the blog i get this problem i mean it should work i just installed the dam thing .... crying rivers

    I'm not so much with wordpress, but it's becuase there is no index for fulltext searching, it doesn't sound right that wp would make that sort of error on a fresh install, so I would try thier forums, but in general the error can be cured with something like

    CREATE fulltext index index_name ON wp_posts( post_content, post_title )

    perhaps someone with ( new-ish ) wordpress knowledge can provide the exact information

    Yeah i know thanks joe i did a full install from my server now adn that worked better :)

    It would have been tons easier if you just use fantastico to install it(if your host has it) :p.

    Now-a-days Hosts Provide with a Option called Fantastico Use it there is a option for installing Wordpress in it and its juts click job no hard work at all :D

    hum hum hum another day of head problems i think its my server.

    I use Hostgator no problem but when i use sevarage there is a problem now when i install the plug in all the same problem

    I gotta agree. I once went the "install it yourself" route and pulled my hair out. Now I only use host with one click installs like Dreamhost, Bluehost, HostGator, etc. Life's too short to be screwin around with a WP install...lol

    now the server told me all WP they had was wrong they forgett a space or something in the php 2 days work! love!
