i HAVE GOT 5000 IMPRESSIONS BUT EARN 1.37$

i HAVE GOT 5000 Impressions on my website.....but i have earned only 1.37 dollars.... Where am I going wrong. Please explain I am so much worried

traffic country matters a lot
click for US is given 1$ + but click for India is given in cents

 

I think you have to work on your ad placement and ad design

for example:

in top banner remove border color red and make it white, change url color to black from green, and make that ad position center by using <center> tag

hope it will increase your CTR little bit

do the same for other ads too...

 

maybe your click low that way you got low amount

 

Thank u all for such good suggestions. Actually I know nothing about SEO and Stuff related to it.... I only submited my website to some search engines...Google Indexed 39 pages of my website. The traffic generally comes from FACEBOOK. Any help regarding traffic will be appreciated.

Improve your ad placement and CTR should increase. The ad unit you choose can increase CPC as well.
I would take out the link units and wide banner, then ad a 336x280 text only ad under "What's new here", and float it to the right like this:

I do this with SearchBliss and it works wonders.

 

Is your traffic boughten? then if that be the case that type of traffic never converts. Try doing blog comments and forum comments on DO FOLLOW websites and if possiable related to yours. you will get good backlinks rank higher in SERPS and get good organic traffic. Keep with it SEO takes a long time i do 14 hours a day easy.
