I have fla file and it does not open in flash software

    I bought a Flash template and it has .{fla) file and I don't know how to open it, I download free trial for adobe Flash CS5.5 and that does not support fla, can anyone help me please, ps. fla file type is shockwave flash

    Hi are you sure it has .fla extension? are you trying to open .swf?

    Sorry again for the mess up, I did check the original file properties are shockwave flash object .swf file.

    You would need to use sothink to convert to .fla file.

    if you bought the template you should have the fla file.
    if you dont, then you need to do what other are saying, convert the swf to fla using a converter.
    needless to say, if you bought a template without the fla you were cheated on as templates normally bring the fla.
