I am using a bigger screen so I can see the entire image right away, the cat I mean.

Is the space you're talking about is the one around the image of the cat?

    My opinion? no you can't.

Try placing the backgound on the body itself, not on the #content, and fixed the attachment so that it won't move when you scroll.

On a bigger screen there will be a space around it because it is smaller than 1280x1024, but on a smaller screen, when you place the image in the <body> I think it will do the trick.

There is space around the border and I want to get rid of it.

I tried that and it didn't work. Well I don't think it needs to be fixed because then all the div windows wouldn't look right.

I don't think the declared CSS in it is the complete eh? 'coz the minute I removed the linked stylesheets you page was a mess... I guess that's why I can't really help you becuase I am editing the ones declared on it, not the linked ones, and with what I see the more stylesheets available there, it gets the browser mixed up...

I may be wrong but that's what I see...

I know it's not complete, but it's complete enough to work. I'll write out the rest of it later, but I want to fix that extra space first. I'm not sure if this will help, but this is my coding:
