I have difficulty identifying keywords for my site

Hi, i am launching a site that is kind of similar to digg.com. What keywords should i target in search engines?

 

have a look at what digg targets - look at their tags and how they come up in tools like seodigger

 

If you already have the site built, go to:
1. https://adwords.google.com/select/KeywordToolExternal
2. Click on website content on left side
3. Enter your website URL
This will pull up what keywords and phrases that Google is seeing on your webpage. From there you can analyze the amount of competition you have for those keywords vs. the numbers of searches. Perhaps you could start from that point and then fine tune?

Analyse the competitors and try getting keyword suggestion from tools like Google adwords ,keyword discovery ...

 

since digg is a social bookmarking site, try social bookmarking, but i think the competition for the "social bookmarking" keyword is tough, try to be specific and relate it to site's content. ^_^
