    Hi there,

I have been on ClickBank for 2 weeks and sold 0 copies of my eBook!!!!!

Is this normal - does it take time for people browsing the marketplace to come across the offering ? Is 50% enough incentive to promote the book ? Are my landing pages any good / good enough ?

I also have the book on LULU, BookHabit, Click2Sell and my own site and only 2 sales in 2 weeks.

Its called LOOKS GOOD ON PAPER an entrepreneurs guide and is back by some very credible UK business people as well as the UK media.

Look, just by registering on Clickbank, people won't magically find you. YOU have to find the affiliates. You have to promote your affiliate program, tell people why they should promote your product.

I'm seeing numerous problems... Here's two of the most obvious that would need to be corrected to have any chance of success.

#1 50% of $10 isn't going to get anyone's interest. It's just not enough money.
#2 It looks like you are also selling the product through other payment processors. No affiliate who knows anything will ever send traffic to a site that offers another way to buy the product, just doesn't make any sense.

I second that, most people here wouldn't even think of promoting something that doesn't at least give them a $15 + commission, it's just not worth the hassle of promoting a product that's only going to give you a couple of dollars in commission unless you are going to sell 20+ copies a day which is doubtful.

    Totally agree.

Getting $5 commission based off the amount of work we put in (articles, building sites, etc.), or money being spent (PPC, etc.) is definitely a turn off to most affiliates...if not all. Then, using payment processors other than Clickbank....you'll more than likely get 0 affiliates.

    My simple to cents..
You've lost 99.9% of all affiliates, just from the # 1 issue : #1 50% of $10 isn't going to get anyone's interest. It's just not enough money.
then the other .5% you lost with the Second Biggest issue of all. #2 It looks like you are also selling the product through other payment processors. No affiliate who knows anything will ever send traffic to a site that offers another way to buy the product, just doesn't make any sense.
You would have better luck selling it yourself in forums, blogs , etc..
    good luck.

I agree with that. I'd also say that if you want to sell a product for that cheap then there's really no point in joining Clickbank - I'd just sell it directly through PayPal.

I would create a naffiliate page to help people promote your product. Put a link in your sig on this forum. Post on a number of threads...even blatantly ask for affiliates. Make it easy for people to cut and paste marketing materials. Affiliates are lazy. I will market products that have the emails all set up. I just cut and paste into my autoresponder and the sit back and wait for the orders.

I have 3 products on ClickBank and a bunch I sell from my site without ClickBank. eMail without Clickbank works best for me. For my main site I use paypal and edownload to make it easy.
