Last week i bought a site at dp www.sania-mirza.info from the dp member lovelylovely . Domain is registered with registerfly.com and he pushed the domain in my a/c and lovelylovely had my username and password info of registerfly.com(here i am not sure) . Today i got an email from registerfly.com here you can see that:

You have just sold a domain on the Domain Market Place. The information
    about the transaction appears below.

    Domain name : sania-mirza.info
    Transaction ID: 24920401
    Amount:18.49

The domain is now removed out of your account. If you need further
assistance, please contact our support via the support center.

Thank you for using the Domain Market Place at RegisterFly.com

But i haven't sold the domain to anyone and i can't see domain in my registerfly.com . I have contacted them but no reply. If you look at the who's info then it still has the my name and address but DNS settings have been changed.
SO guys pls tell me what should i do now to get the domain back..or it's gone now.

    Thanks in advance

why did DP member have your PASSWORD?

not required to push domain to you - is it?

    maybe i don't understand?

have you contacted DP member to ask "what the he** happened?"
    maybe he knows something?

I'm not sure I can help with your registryfly situation, but my advice would be to change your password immediately!

And have you talked to lovelylovely about it?

    oh, sorry to hear that.
i was just informed about this weird thing about registerfly.
so basically they sold your domain away without your permission. even if the domain was in the marketplace, they should notify you before they take any action. screw them!

i'm thinking of transfering my domain out of them.

hopefully you will get your domain name back soon..

Good luck westhaven in getting the names back. In other forums, people are very unhappy with registerflys service. Their support sucks, fixes the problem after weeks.

i am got a pm from another member of dp SUFI :

    Hi,

You may not know me but I am lovelylovely's friend and sania-mirza.info was actually my site.

I just read that you've lost the domain. Actually it was kind of my stupidity or say registerfly crappy system. I'll try to explain it to you.

Long time ago when I registered sania-mirza.info I had no plan to develop it so I put it for sale on Registerfly Marketplace for $20 as It was meant to be good price for a .info name undeveloped. Many months passed and I found that a friend of mine is good designer so I developed a site with help of my designer friend. At this time I totally forgot that I put the domain for sale in Marketplace

Now, my another friend lovelylovely said that he can sell this site for good money and he sold it to you and then I sent u site+domain. Now someone who saw that sania-mirza.info is ranked in search engine and developed site so they bought it from marketplace and you lost the domain automatically.

I think it is my fault and I am responsible for it but I think it is a little Registerfly fault too because after a name is transfered to new account, they should remove it from marketplace automatically because it is possible that new owner doesn't want to sell it.

Now please try to convince Registerfly and get ur domain back but if u fail in it, I'll give u refund of the site. Please dont leave any negative reputation for my friend lovelylovely.

guys pls help me out what should i do now.
Now who's information has also ben changed and here is the new owner:

    First Name: Nathan
    Last Name: Anderson
    Address 1: 811West4thSt.
    Address 2:
    City: Pueblo
    StateProvince: CO
    PostalCode: 81003
    Country:
    Phone: +1.7195444752

Your problem is that you gave your password. Under no circumstance should you ever give out your password. By giving out your password, you allow anyone to do anything to account, such as this. Let this be a lesson to others who read this post.

Sorry to hear about your loss.

just read this thread will try to catch u on msn
i am 150% sure i never ever asked for the password nor do i get it

every ones knows its never needed for push
and u can check ur pm + msn history if i asked for ur password and i know u are not sure about this ur self. so rest assure i never accessed ur account :)
    I have the history

U now know the whole situation

The sufi pm explains the whole situation what actually happened, it was listed in regfly market place but was never sold.
I think we thought once domain transferd from owner A to owner B its obvious and common business sense that Owner A has no more control for it and he listed it in the market palce of the same registrar so it should have been disabled automaticall. as Owner b did not posted for acution etc

The only thing is u need to call reg fly at the moment and sort it out

I dont think theres any TOS that says this (what happened in this case)

any ways pls try to contact them(that will be considered a favor also)

and if u can't get ur hands on ur domain (pls take some time) U will get a refund.

rather then bashing at each other its all missunderstanding on both sides

only and purely caz of A.. H... RegFly
never ever gonna use them from now on

we learn by our mistakes, dont we.

I guess the best thing you can do here is to just get a refund for the site, since it seems that the new owner bought it legally anyway.

I have read all the earlier posts and I would say what I really feel here. I don't like in confusing people with difficult statements.

Lovelylovely should make a full refund to westhaven.

    Why?

Bcos, its a case of selling a single product to multiple people.

Whether it is purposely or by mistake doesn't make sense.

It's lovelylovely's responsibility to inform his friend to remove it from the marketplace. In fact he should tell his friend before posting it here on DP.

Though I do not vouch for any legal proceedings, I feel LovelyLovely should take it as a moral responsibility to refund the amount in total to westhaven.

However I wonder when lovelylovely got a RED, before westhaven purchased this site or after?

And I don't think registryfly is at fault in any way at all.

I have to agree, it was placed in Regfly's marketplace, so the sale was legal. It's the responsibility of the owner to take it off the marketplace if you decide to sell it to someone else.

I personally think Westhaven and the previous domain owner should both contact Registerfly to try to sort out the problem. Good communication between them all should have this issue sorted out in quick time.

It seems a simple oversight has resulted in the current situation. It shouldn't be difficult to sort it out so long as everyone adopts a professional approach and keeps everything within the context that an error has resulted in the mix up.

Not really anyone's fault and no gain to be had by trying to say it was. Just one of those unexpected things that happen from time to time.

It is honestly registerflys fault. Their system should have been able to detect the change of ownership and this cancel out the after sale
