I have banished nofollow tags

I really feel that the nofollow tag has done more to harm than to help my blog over the past several months. In my estimation more than a few gaming bloggers have not commented because of the tags. No more! I am beefing up my spam catcher by installing spam karma 2 and I am eliminating all nofollows.

I anyone noticed a difference in ranking or user commenting after taking away the tag?

People should be comments on the blog because it's interesting and generates discussion. If people are leaving comments to get a freebie link then there not the type of people you want as readers anyway.

If someone is just looking for a freebie with a one-line meaningless comment I delete it. My main concern is actually giving the people who support my site something in return.

I'm all about removing NoFollow! It should be up to the blogger, not the blog software developer whether of not they want the people who leave comments to get link love.
