    I am looking for an established site to purchase and it must be atleast 3 years old and indexed in google. Generating a profit of around $1000 per month.

    I think that'll be a steal if you find one generating $1k/month and the owner sells it for $5k..

    10 months revenue maybe (depending on the site)... so for your $5k you'd be looking for a site that makes around $500/month .....
