You only have to have links to paid survey sites or something similar to go against the program policies.

I dont see why that website was not accepted ... if it is original content then there is no real reason.

Unless the domain itself was banned before under a different adsense publisher maybe? Or you gave them the wrong url when you applied.

A friend of mine applied, was rejected 3+ times before I asked what he was sending into them ... he had sent in the wrong url (spelt similarly) that took it to a complete different website that lacked content, had poor navigation and basically looked like it had been abandoned.

There was "adsense" for porn sites. But the people who ran those PPC programs where sleezy and they all ended up putting each other out of business with absurd amounts of "click fraud."

It's not just the content that keeps AdSense away from porn sites. It's the owners.

    No difference really is there?
Normal adsense sites get targetted by rival clickers anyway.

Well after the 3rd time you applied they are probably now just rejecting you out of spite. I wouldn't be surprise if they have you blacklisted for continually applying over and over and over again. Did you just keep using the same site? That's even worst.

Google do not approve incomplete sites, check your aboutus page, it is incomplete, perhaps that is the reason why they disapprove your site over and over..

Not only About us, check your all categories, they all should be complete (at least one or two articles in every category) and as far as software download is concern, make sure you dont violate copyright law..

I dont get a thing, why do people keep suggesting that one can get an adsense account by making a blog and applying under the name of that blog.

Its not blog where he wants to run the Adsense, its his site, and if google keeps denying his site over and over, that means there must be something wrong with that site. Even if he gets adsense thru blogger and puts adsense on his site, and if that site is violating any TOS regulation and he gets banned for that, what would that adsense account do good??

That could be a reason - the potential copywrite violations.

Perhaps making a implicit statement that all software that would be downloaded is "open source - free - not copywrited or whatever liscense is used etc"

Although it is a resource site, google may be dismissing it due to not being able to determine whether there are any copywrite implications and such like.
