Hey, I think i may have a good idea for a website, and affilates. Obviously i am not going to post it here, but i would like some advice, so if you are a trusted member of DP could you please PM or post here. If i think you are trusted i will tell you, and hopefully get some feed back on the idea, also if you would like to go into it as a partner ship. I would be open to that. This is just an idea you might think it is no good, but it is a passion to me so i think i could stick with it and hopefully make it somthing. Don't be so afraid of posting your idea. This is what Alain Raynaud sent me in an email below - This might change your opinion on sharing your idea. Oh he's the founder of FairSoftware.net - this is where people go to find partners and start projects. "First, read this blog post: blog.fairsoftware.net/2009/03/11/the-great-startup-idea-that-i-cant-reveal-yet/ Even Google published an academic paper describing their key idea, before they became famous. That didn't prevent them from being successful. People usually don't copy ideas, they copy successes. That being said, the best approach is to post a public project with a description that doesn't give away the details of the idea. Explain in general terms what kind of problem you will solve. Then, people who are interested that space will contact you. It's up to you to screen them first and see how comfortable you are with sharing more details."
