In the unlikely event that it was allowed, I wouldn't use adsense content ads. I would only use a search box. I'm surprised none of you guys figured that out after all this time.

Next time, don't misquote me! As you can read, my point regarding TOS had nothing to do with being able to crawl content. My point in contacting them is something you should really do if you're concerned about being banned.

If you don't want to create your own system to test, but want to use adsense in a strange way then contact google. Don't think you can be cleverer than them as they're always cleverer than anyone else.

Why don't you just put a non-adsense search box on there if all you want is a way to search google? That way, you can be safe in the knowledge you won't get banned for TOS violation of your adsense account. :)

In case of doubt: use common sense ... ask yourself if those clicks are beneficial to the adwords advertisers :)

Exactly. That's basically what I'm driving at.

I really should just contact google about it and stop pestering you people. I apologize if I upset anyone with my experimental suggestions.

You can not sent adsense through mail, rss feeds or applications at this time. I believe there are some adsense mail/rss betas going on as we speak. Mike323 there are many of the internet's brightests in these forums, what you are asking is nothing new, in fact I believe a similar question was asked in these forums at least 10-12 months ago, you'll need to hunt for it.

    cheers

Interesting...as you said. Although I find AS search really doesn't pay compared to ads. I would be keenly interested to see how Google responds to this, please keep us in the loop if you decide to ask them :).

Google has to be able to view the site and its bots have to be able to crawl it to determine the nature of the site. This is to insure that they are serving the ads correctly and to a site that meets their TOS. They are pretty picky about this and I cannot say as I blame them.

well, I will reveal a secret that helps you get indexed faster in googles search. Unfortunately, I'm not sure it works anymore, though.

Anyway, what I used to do to get indexed in google's search quickly was post a link to my site in google groups. what I found at the time I did this was that google's search was picking up related results in google groups and putting them in their search results.

however, it's probably still a good way to get your site mass indexed on the internet because lots of website use google groups syndicated content (rss). so it's just a matter of finding which groups are being syndicated across the net the most.

that can be applied to any popular site that offers its visitors syndicated content. just get yourself listed in that content and it will be duplicated on all the sites that use that feed.

for instance, own a site with video? throw a video on youtube and it could be picked up on multiple sites.

yeah, most probably ppl just dont realize the great idea is just one step ahead, 2 of your ideas works for me, and also yahoo groups, btw, couple weeks ago, I ask for :

if ( no adsense ads )
    then show = chitika-non-contextual
    halt

no one actually give me the correct answer for that question , except jackburton2006, because they are too afraid to break the wall, and nah, now I saw Shawn applied this method here, look carefully each time you browsing and refreshing the site, if no adsense ads show up, chitika will come.
