It honestly seems like it would not be, I've had asense for 4 years, but im sure some of you would know better, is it against TOS?

    if not... would it work?

    thanks for any input

I don't know as much as others but I'd say that's probably illegal. I've had some people chime in on what I did on my site and everyone agreed what I did was legal (see link ads in nav bar).

It's kind a cool. But I don't think google will like this. For sure this will increase your CTR really good.

Why not go to the adsense forum to get a precise answer. Here you may get some yes and some no . Ask there and play it safe so the ban wagon will not pick you up at your front door.

In a sense my ads are framed as well. Your idea is a bit more creative, but the idea is the same, to anchor the ads into the design rather than just have them floating in space.

And just to clarify I was speaking of my ads in the gray area, not the ones beneath the navigation bar in white.

I think it's a really good idea and I agree that you should probably ask Google before doing it. I hope they'll accept it because I might try something like that, so let us know :D

ive read over the TOS and havent found anything that speaks against wrapping your ads, as long as your not changing code...its fine

if they can control this, then essentially they can control the design of your body, or sidebar that you put a normal ad in.

ive also posted on the forum, no response so far.

It is a risk to have these ads. My site got banned for doing this earlier.
