I have all the TLDs (.com,.net,.org,.info) for my keyword - How can I get optimum results using them?

Pardon my ignorance on the subject, but the way I am thinking about implementing it is by creating a four sites on four different servers.

The .com will be the main site where the content resides. The other TLDs will have a blank page with nothing but:

    <H1><a href="http://www.mykeyword.com">My Keyword</a></H1>
    Code (markup):
Then, I am going to back-link the hella out of all 4 TLDs.

I haven't read anything on this subject, just piecing together information..

    what is the best way?

    Thanks for any input!

Why wouldn't you just forward the other domains to your .com? Am I missing something here?

Yep, what Bcarter said is the right answer.

Trying to optimise sites with no content would be such an uphill battle - and in no way can you say a site with just a link to another site is 'relevant' to any keyword. Of course, the Google algo can be tricked by heavy volume backlinks, but you leave yourself with no other option, and very vulnerable to spam filters. If you put 'some' content on the sites that's the same, then you will trigger duplicate content filters. It's just completely the wrong way to go about it.

And if you do get people to it, you will lose at least half of your potential visitors by people taking one look at that one page, thinking 'what the hell is this?' and not bothering to click that link. Send them via a permanent redirect to the page/site that you actually want them to see.

    You have basically two options:

-Redirect your other sites to your main site, as Bcarter suggests
    - Create four different sites (and I mean different), so as to try to go to the four top Google positions.

This latter only works if the competition is not all too fierce, but guarantees you almost all the traffic, I've done it from time to time. Make sure that the different sites are not on the same IP and make sure that you do not cross-link them, so that they look both to humans and search engines as different sites. Problem is, it takes more work than just one site.
