So, I periodically check my account in Google, under the Webmaster Resources Tab (where you can play with your robots.txt and sitemaps), and it finally says that "Pages from your site are included in Google's index". But, when I do a site:www.mydomain.com, I get absolutely no results. Huh? It says I'm indexed but I'm not. Anyone seen this before? I have recently obtained backlinks from Google, I know that much, but I can't figure this one out!
I haven't use those Googles tools recently, but as far as I remember it needed some time to act on changes. So, best placed pages, search queries, indexed pages updated UNREGULAR and SLOW.
i wouldnt worry to much about it, different data centers show dif results, give it a few days. btw, I how ya like living in abq, I really loved it there, I visited the whole state from santa fe to the caverns over looking texas... its so beautiful there, i miss it
Thanks for the responses. As far as Albuquerque, I love the weather and the scenery here, no place better. But, the negative is living in such poverty. We are one of the poorest states. Example: I'm a .NET programmer and only make a few grand above poverty level!
Well, I guess they wanted to fake me out for awhile. Now it's back to saying that they have not indexing me ! Arrrghhhhhh!
Use this tool http://yourcache.com to check how your pgaes is indexed in all google datacenters Google rules also says that they don't guarantee that your pages will be included in google SERs
