    Hello everybody!

I have a 1 month old website named www.BigCommerceStation.com and in this period i am working for its link promotion. During this one month I have placed above 1500 links in various forums and blogs but unfortunately when i use backlinkwatch dot com to search my backlinks I couldn't not find any of them. Earlier I had several other websites and I could see the backlinks within one week. But I don't know what's going on with this website. Can anyone tell me about this problem?

Just input "link: www.bigcommercestation.com" into Google and it will show all of your strong back links that are showing up. Currently showing 214 of them.

There are zero backlink was shown. The correct way is "link:www.website.com", not "link: www.website.com"

Another way to check your back links is to use the webmaster tools in google. Back links always take some time to show up. The search engines don't always see them right away.

But my actual question is "Why are my backlinks not getting indexed?"

Are you doing things to promote the indexation of your back links? ie. pinging, RSS, etc? These things can help with your index rate. Also, you can look at OSE or Majestic for tracking your indexed back links.
