Try to put your sites in search engine because SEo is the only best way to interact with more users and visitors and moreover you will get more traffic on your sites that will make your ranking to high level. Google is the best way to increase the ranking of your sites.

you can check the ads through (yoursite.com/chitikatest= keyword) you can insert the relevent keyword that releates to your site, you can see the ads, and the ads will begin show to US traffic but not instantly, it will show after some times, I think may be after a month or after three weeks. depend upon chitika team. It will be good just try these Chitika ads, it doesnt matters if you are not getting traffic from Search Engines.....

 

Keep well clear of Chitika, (SHITika) they don't pay up!!! I've just been burnt by them! I should have listened to the warnings about them doing this. Once it got time for them to pay me, I recieved out of the blue a account suspension notice at the eleventh hour of them parting with the cash! I emailed them asking for an explanation, no reply surprise surprise! I had been running a test with Chitika since January on my 5 best performing domains with Adsense to see how they compared. The per click is terrible, about a tenth of what Adsense pay, on average about 10c a click! Previous to this test I have had these same domains with Adsense for 2 years with no problems, I have abided by all the rules set down by both companies. Complete mystery why they would suspend my account?? Back to Adsense for me!

 

Chitika have a very limited inventory, and as most of the publishers say, they are good with US traffic, and maybe Canada as well. I used Chitika on a content site that has around 12,000 Impressions / day. And guess what! The ads were so lame not even one visitor clicked on them.
Secondly, It doesn't matter where you get the traffic from, but geo targetting must happen from the US.

 

Yes, Chitika is now showing ads for all kinds of traffic instead of showing ads only for search traffic.

chitika is good only if you have US/CA visitors.

 

Chitika does show ads to non-search engine traffic but those are filler ads, similar to what you would see on a site approved for "silver" only. They don't really pay much and they are so bad that noone clicks on them. So, if your traffic is indeed mostly not from search engine (and lucky you, by the way! ) , I think you should use AdSense instead. I'm not a huge fan of making Google and even bigger monster than they already are but there's really nothing out there that can compete with Google for contextuals.

 

I don't know but chitika never gave me any amount for impressions.

 

as many mentioned here chitika shows relevant ads to search term on SE.
I left them because they actually show 90% irrelevant ads and CPC was low.
If Chitika is your only option, try it, otherwise go with Adsense.
