Hi guys well im getting into hosting my own server and have done so from home. However i have one problem, i need bandwidth and IP's.

How can i allocate bandwidth to my box or attain a set of IP's? Im thinking it would be to do with my internet service provider? Well I doubt ISP's will be able to help me here however im wondering if there is another way?

Are there any places where i can take my own server and install it and then all i do is use the bandwidth and obtain a set of ip's?

Any heads up on how to obtain bandwidth would be appreciated and how much in costs i am looking at.

    Cheers

Hm come on .. how should you get bandwidth if your ISP does not give that to you ??
Well to not ignore your question: You can buy a sattelite down and uplink (cost a few thousand $ once and 200-500 per month) then you got another source of bandwidth.

But to be more realistic: IPs need to be routed -> your ISP is your router
Bandwidth needs to come from your uplink -> your ISP is your uplink

Switch to a corporation account and you'll probably get a bit of both.
Professional hosting usually means hosting a server outside of your home in a datacenter, there you get 100mbps and you might even be able to order IPs directly from ripe.
