I have a review blog and I was wondering how to phrase links to my products

For example, would "Purchase the books here" be better than "Get the books here"? What would be better in terms of SEO and also the way it is perceived. "Get" seems less intrusive, but I'm just not sure if it would lead to more conversions. Also, I have a feeling that the word "purchase" would help with SEO. What are your thoughts?

Most top marketers avoid the word 'purchase', so I'd go with 'get' instead. However, why not test them both to see which works better for converting people?

Have you tried adding a banner ad in your post for the product? For example, at the end of your post, just put in a clickable picture of an ad for the product. Pretty simple and might give you a little boost in clickthrough too. Again, I'd test it to see if it helps or hurts. Good luck, let us know what you find.
