Analittics is good tool to track your website's users, but i think it has little problem to track all users of every page of a website.

What's the other tool that you've used which makes you feel that Google analytics isn't showing the right stats?

 

How do you know that your analytics is lying??

 

I checked my analytics page I see 0 user daily but my cauntry counter site's I see 45 - 50 user

 

Those will be spiders, bots, etc. Analytics is accurate if you have the code on every page.

 

I think you are referring to Google Analytics and I think you are surprised that you have so few web visitors to your site.

One thing to remember about Google Analytics uses a sample of your visitors to make trends. GA is not 100% accurate but it gives you a really good idea of web traffic. If you want something that gives you almost 100% accurate numbers try something like StatCounter. Its a pretty good tool but a lot of data.

Additionally most analytic packages filter out common spider's activity, I am pretty sure GA does. You would be very surprised if you look at your server logs because there are tons of bot activity not recorded in GA or other analytic software.

Google analytics is good tool for sure and best we have right now but It surely have some bugs and limitation.No matter what issues you face until you have good replacement around you have to keep using it.

You need it on every page: the chances that every visitor hits your homepage - especially those coming from search engines - are tiny.

Most CMSs have a plugin system or a configuration option that allows you to insert either an Analytics code or your own HTML into a header/footer. Use it.

 

There is lot of advantages in using Free version of google analytics tool instead of going for paid one , i agree GA does not produces 100% accurate result , but we can create a good filter to filter out a quality visitors .

 

Even you buy a paid one trust me you are going to come back on Google Analytics.Google webmaster and Google Analytics are two very cool tools except few bugs and lack on information.They are the best we have but not perfect.
