I have a question about Twitter

    I am very new and am trying to get alot of followers so I was wondering if I follow someone on twitter is it cusotmary for them to do the same for me?

    Also if you would like to follow me go http://twitter.com/makemoneyfree21 if you follow me I will of course do the same. I talk alot about making money online and good places to market websites.

    It's not customary, but it's likely they will at least check out your profile

    Your username doesn't look convincing though, at first thought I think that if I follow you then I'm going to receive make money spam.

    Some people have auto-follow though so you will get followed

    I wouldn't dream of following someone with a name like makemoneyfree, and would instantly block you. This kind of not-quite-spamming-but-bloody-near-it is the bane of Twitter.
    And auto-following - doing serious damage to what Twitter is actually for - Twitter knows it and has discontinued it's own auto-follow facility, but third party applications still do it. Until Twitter put their foot down and ban it altogether.

    Ya I really didnt know what to call myself so I kept it close to my blog,website, and forum since that's what my visitors expect. I only tweet about the website, blog, and so on.

    twitter is only useful to get traffic and networking with other ppl I think... that's the way you have to exploit it.

    I just posted about how to get over 2,000 followers in a couple weeks on my blog. It works for me and I have several sites all over 2,000. Check out my post. Easy to do and no tech stuff.

    I use twitter myself but use myspace even more. There is actually a great technique I use to make money with myspace.

    sites with 2000 followers?
    are they quality followers tho, you can have 10k bots following and it doesn't help a bit

    Basically, you don't need to worry about it. If your profile looks great people will automatically follow you on twitter. You should always update your profile and give something informative so that people will follow you.
