I have a question about site visits

This might sound silly, but after I searched for awhile and haven't found answers yet. If a site gets 9500 visits/month, is it good? Or it's still very very small traffic.

Quality of those visits is also important. If a niche directory is getting 300 quality visits a day it is better than getting 700 non-quality (or general) visits (of course we could argue about the various types of quality but that would make things complicated).

Depends on where you are getting your count ...

Some counters don't provide a count for "unique" visitors, and logs are usually overstated.

For example with my site Webalizer shows 79 visits, but top site button only shows 38 visitors. Never did trust the log counts. :)

Where is this count coming from?
