I've got a client, well was a client who paid 25% upfront, which is what I always ask for, however the issue arised when he wanted updates to often and was being rather rude, unsure if he ment to be so, or if it's just as he did not know much English. Anyhow I've offered him the refund of the 25% he paid, but it will take 2-3 days to come from PayPal. I've offered him the script he paid for, for free in 2 days, the search engine script, for free and my whole heart felt apology for the delay in getting him his refund, however he is demanding I refund him right now. Search Engine Script & PSDSearch.net & The arcade for free when it's done, thats a lot. I'm not used to clients like this, and to be honest I feel I can't do much more. What else could I do to make him less.. stressed. He is already stating he is going to make a topic calling me a scammer (however I'm sure many \all of my customers would disagree!) and give me red-rep, not worried about the rep or even the topic, but to have someone not happy with me is not nice at all. Hello Cardiff_88, Typically when a client wants a refund, they dislike the service or/and are not satisfied with it at all. This is when they get angry, because they have to look again, or go after something else, and they may need they money right away to buy another service since that one you had didn't fit their needs exactly. I always keep enough balances in my account of which they paid, either e-gold, paypal, etc... So that I can refund them properly. Just try to get the money as soon as possible and pay them the quickest way. Good luck!
Yeah from now on I plan to have enough in my account. I just have this odd feeling about PayPal, we've all read the crap about paypal.
There is no reason that you should give them the scripts for free if he's not paying. It's his responsibility to give you the whole specification at the beginning. You are going to get negative reviews from time to time, its just a matter of statistics. However if you have a lot of good reviews (as you mentioned you do), then one negetive won't do anything. As long as you refund him the money, everything should be all right. If he calls you a scammer, just reply to his thread saying that you are refunding the money, and it has already been done so.
It's hard when it comes to customers. Some are nice and some are not. I suggest giving him the refund as soon as you can. It sounds like a trouble maker no matter how good your service is sadly

It will take longer than 5 days to refund you anyway, as echeques take a week to clear as i presume thats where the refund is coming from his bank account.
Well, some people act on impulse just like children and think everyone is going deceive them. Maybe it is because they themselves are scammers.
