hello friends. i have just face a problem.. i got 5 red reputation points on DP. now i cant make threads in Buy ,sell or trade section. so i am very sad about this. any suggestions that how can i remove these points. should i request to moderators or admin. or i should do something else??
Before you can post in Buy, Sell, or Trade you need to have made 25 posts, and have been a member more than 14 days. As far as the 5 red reputation points, I don't understand that at all. Why would anyone give you reputation if this is your first post? Anyway, it doesn't look like you have an overall red reputation. You can tell by the little box under your name - it's green. If you ever had an overall red reputation, the little box would be red. I would just make some quality posts (25), and give it a little time (2 weeks) -- then, you'll be able to post in Buy, Sell, and Trade.
"Overall" normally means... Mainly For the most part Majority of For example, if most all of your feedback or reputation was negative -- that would mean an "overall" negative reputation. But, as I was saying, it doesn't appear as though you have an overall negative reputation. If you did, that little box below your name would be red. So, I don't think that's the issue. I think you just need to create more posts, and have been a member a bit longer to post in Buy, Sell, and Trade.
I can see that OP is now banned, but for those who have similar question Reputation and Infractions are different and shouldn't be confused with one another Users can't give you infractions but they can give you positive or negative reputation
