I have a important question

    hello all,
    I am planning to make a movie site like watch-movies.net movies-on-demand.tv type of site.
    However i recently seen the site movierumor.com and FOMDB.com had been taken offline with MPAA.
    My question is why only some sites get suspend by MPAA. How come watch-movies.net or movies-on-demand.tv or others that are listed in ovguide.com are not suspended?
    Is that because they hosting is offshore or something else?
    If my site is hosted on offshore hosts will i be safe(i don't want to pay for fine)?

    If you have such a site and is hosted offshore please recommend a good offshore hosting with a good uptime.

    Only thing with offshore i think is that its anonym (100% mostly). Its still illegal :p

    It is illegal to create such sites, but you can get away easily by creating anonymous email/ domain and hosting it in RUSSIA.

    Also make sure that you don't mention anywhere that you own this site. Google can search whole internet so lie low and enjoy the ad revenues.

    If you receive any threat, change the domain name and so on..
