I have a homepage site that makes almost nothing...

    www.custom-home-page.com (its not finished)

It gets about 30 to 50 hits a day which isnt enough to make much money but over the last 2 months I made about $.84 for 3300 hits and $1.45 on 150 search queries. My eCPM on Google AdSense is really low and I need to know how to get it up.

Is this site worth investing into? And if so how should I promote it? I currently only have my friends use it and I would like to see more people in the future.

    Thanks,
    Brandon

I wish I could offer any advice, but I am having the same problem with my homepage. I've made about $4 from only 600 hits, but that is not much money from AdSense.

You should think about selling your own product from the site as well.

I wouldn't expect to ever see the money you're earning with your website. AdSense will undoubtedly disable your account before you ever see a dime. They don't care much for websites like yours that are nothing but links to other sites. You need original content, and lots of it, to succeed in the AdSense program. Pretty much everyone gets accepted into the program at first, but eventually they'll get around to looking more closely at your site and if they don't feel your website is offering something positive and unique, they disable your account.

The only thing I'd be expecting from AdSense is an email wishing you the best of luck.

A serious answer without knowing anything about your site is quite hard.
You and your friends are using it... So that could be arcade or social or ... a lot of things.
    A bit more info?

I gave him a serious answer. If he's expecting to make money with AdSense on a "website" like that, it's not going to happen. Any money he earns will just end up being refunded to the advertisers when they disable his account.
