Unfortunately, we're all stuck on this planet together and technological advanced in communications and transportation are making the planet effectively smaller every day.

Today you may be able to look at the blind school girl standing over the dead body of her teacher and say "Meh, not happening here." That's not really different than when Hitler invaded Poland and the rest of the world said "That's not our problem, havanudderbeah."

Unfortunately, evil unopposed only grows. Eventually you will have children of your own. What kind of a world do you want to gift to them?

When I have children, I'll protect them myself. I don't want anyone else to do that. I'm man enough to do it on my own.

the problem is Will, that although you may have good intentions, wars never play out like that. Look at Iraq and Afghanistan. I wonder if the people there feel better now.

As for the Poland comparison, you know full well it's completely different. For a start, domestic and cultural differences - which they are. They happen there because they allow it, they don't happen here because we disallow it - are completely different to imperialism and invading.

If you want to be the world police, you sign up and fight there, then come back here and I'll listen. I see you typing a lot, but I don't see you claiming you've done your part.

So murdering a Jewish woman is wrong, but murdering an Arabic woman is less wrong -- because of "domestic and cultural differences"?

Sure, as long as the threat level is kept relatively low -- which is what the men and women of the allied armed forces are ensuring.

But the policy you are espousing is for them not to do that job, which will eventually allow the evil to grow until it's right on your doorstep.

Do you really want to live in a world where you are forced to protect yourself and your family from organized violence every single day of your life? Does that seem like a good thing to you? Is that the world you want to live in? Is that the world that you want your children to live in?

I think you're exaggerating the threat. You don't know that there would be organised violence to defend from every day. Also, I noticed you took my statement out of context. I said that comparing an invasion which threatens an entire continent, with cultural problems within a country - which the people there don't even dispute themselves - is pointless. You cannot compare them. One warrants action, the other does not.

So you see the little girl disfigured from acid burns standing over at the murdered body of her school teacher and you say "Meh -- the threat to you is exaggerated. It's just a cultural problem."

The National Socialists of Germany and the Soviet Socialists of Russia were "cultural problems."

Moral victory will not be achieved through the use of semantic dodges.

do u always write without reading my friend?
    read what I said;
can u see smthng like “I eat ham”?
can u also see :)p) at the end of the sentence?
    where do u use :p ? when u r serious?
everyone can understand it was a joke…
the topic is about islam, but people started to talk about cooking and u wanted them to be back to topic and @bogart combined two topics by asking “Will I be attacked while eating a ham sandwich and walking down the street in a muslim country?” he continued talking about what he wants and also did what u want…
    half joke… half serious…
I see this as a joke and keep the topic going like that way.
I said there “if that muslim country is Turkey, u won't be attacked”
the serious thing was that not eating his sandwich

and be sure, I’m not trying to do smthing like “I’M MUSLIM BUT PLEASEEE LOVE MEEE”
    I don’t need this…
why can I need this my friend?
if people will love me, they should love me for who I am
and all I do is act like myself not more…
if my aim is to be loved by people in dp, I will never write to this thread, never say that I’m muslim
do u see the topic my friend? “I have a hatred for islam”, if my aim is to be loved, what am I doing in this thread by saying "I'm a muslim"?

and what is wrong to talk with the transexuals or to be a friend with them?
did they want to be like that or is it because of their genetic/hormones?
does the God say they r bad and not to talk with them?
don’t forget my friend, they r also human and God created them like that
the God indiscriminates and loves every human being that he creates
so… if the God loves them, is there a reason for us not to love them?
goodness is in humans heart, brain, noone can judge a person because of his/her appearance or sexual chioce
the judgement is God’s duty not ours

sorry my friend @imad but I agree with @browntwn
it is not our duty to teach people what is wrong or right
it is not our duty to say what is forbidden in a religion or what is not
it is not our duty to tell people how to live
it is not our duty to judge people…

religion or belief is between the God and the human

if a person kills someone or stoles smthng, people can say it is wrong and judge him/her
but noone can say what to believe…

as a result, I believe in God, I believe he is the only creator of everything, I believe angels, heaven, hell etc.
I believe I’m a good person, in my heart
‘cos I don’t tell lies, I help people, I stand apart frm hurting, sadden people etc.
and if I’m doing smthng that is a sin, it is between the God and myself

please my friend, don’t try to teach anyone anything about religion
beliefs r in human’s heart, brain, it is not a thing that can be changed by talking or teaching…

Just read the first post and also consider it to be completely unnecessary - was pleased to see this sort of thing isn't tolerated on these forums!

So imad, if you had only one bullet, which person would you shoot?

    A. A Turkish Muslim woman eating a ham sandwich and drinking a beer while wearing a bikini.
    B. A conservative Christian man who never drank, smoke, cursed, or ate meat of any kind and always paid his Jizyah on time.

oh I was making fun of your post, not your beliefs which I do not know them, you can eat ham as much as you want, who can stop you? and I guess I already mentioned that's something between you and God, so I do not see why you come to tell me "this is something between me and God" bluh bluh my life, you want to control me, bluh bluh, judge me ...

where did you feel I want to control you? the same question I asked to browntwn?

    I saw it here

what else "attack" combined with hungry would mean here? take a picture of it maybe? if that was the case I apologize for misunderstanding it, again it's up to you if you want to eat it or not, the point I made in my post was, and I will repeat it again here, in Islam ham is not allowed, when you come and say I would eat it after a previous post in which you spoke on behalf of Islam by saying (Islam is not like this in Turkey) it would be nice to mention that in Islam it is not allowed, whether it was Islam in Turkey or elsewhere, since it's prohibition in Quran, and later add what means, but I (you) would eat it, and if you want to be even more nice would be great if you said why you would eat it when you are a Muslim and it is not allowed in Islam,

to scream to the world, hay I m free? and here is the proof: I can eat ham?

you are free whether you eat it or not..

but in the light of the thread topic, it is really not a nice thing to do to try to imply that ham is allowed in Islam when it is not for the sole purpose of trying to approach some party, it is like putting Islam down and be proud of violating it's rules just to please somebody, or in case if you truly believe in God, throw his teachings behind your back to get close to some party,

this is how I felt from reading your posts, it can hold both right or wrong, if I made wrong, I apologize for it, and really appreciate your lengthy post trying to make it clear.

oh really? LOL just by asking such question you show what mentality you have,

of course, neither of them, and you know already that this would be my answer, that's why you tried to force only two answers on me that portray your wishful and hateful thinking, not my choices.

Imad, you tried in your post telling him what "a good Muslim is", as though you have any authority to tell others how to live. You are just a man Imad, please don't forget that.

You tried to tell him how he is to speak about Islam in this very forum. It is these acts of trying to tell someone else how to act, how to be a good Muslim that you have no business doing. Telling him what to do if he believes in God, or does not believe in God. Basically telling another man how to behave. It is none of your damn business.

Worry about your own behavior. It is not your job, or the job if Islam, to tell everyone how to live. If men chose to follow Islam in the manner you are comfortable with, great. If men chose to follow Islam differently than you do, great. What is not great is when you dare tell people that your way, and your beliefs, are the only true and correct way. It is people who think they are correct and everyone else is wrong that lead the world to wars. It is the reason many sects of Islam fight each other instead of rejoicing in their own love of God, they try to tell other men that the way they are loving God is the wrong way. It is shameful behavior.

Maybe you are a good Muslim, maybe you are a bad Muslim ThraXed.

Who gets to make that decision? Taliban? American Muslim? Saudi Muslim? Imad? Me? Or is that something that is between you and Allah?

oh browntwn again not getting it, I will have to show you again a simple example,

if somebody said I speak on behalf U.S. Government, and said what means "cocaine is allowed" wouldn't you correct that person? since it is not allowed?

now if you corrected that person by telling him, hay, it's not allowed by law, are you controlling that person life then? or trying to dictate how he should live?

so it is not as your wishful hateful thinking tells you, that I m trying to tell him how to speak about Islam, it's simply not allowed in Islam to eat ham! simple like that ;)

you been talking bad about Islam and Muslims since very long and I been correcting your mistaken info always, I know it annoys you cos you kinda lost some freedom in saying lies about Islam without being corrected, but hay, do not expect to say BS without being refuted or corrected ;) and if I did, do not cry and say, he is trying to control me, I m trying to correct your wrong info, as you said (i m trying to tell) in my posts not (trying to control).
