You have a lot to learn, homie  How do you expect that some people don't start hating Islam when Muslims hate the West so much, and express it in so many ways.

It goes both ways. And I don't hate "the West". I despise its governments, yes, but I wouldn't call it "hate".

This thread seems to actually show that the majority of people agree with her claims and dislike Islam and its followers would it not. I hate Islam :) don't mind saying it, your idea of diplomacy is flying planes full of innocent people into skyscrapers, blowing up women and children on their buses and subways on the way to school. Your so called prophet was a pedophile and so doesn't make him fit to be a prophet and your religion has the most naive bunch of followers I've ever seen.

Your not superior to anyone, especially not the opening poster, your just throwing insults her way because she rightly questions the methods of your religion and your religion doesn't like questions, simply because they have a lot to hide that the majority of the world would find absolutely discussting.
You seem to be missing the point that the majority of people in this thread agree with the opening poster and disagree with you and the statements made by other Islamic followers. If anyone should leave, it should be you :)

Maybe it was custom then, however theres still a 5 year difference between 9 and 14 years of age, plus, Islamic law still allows this TODAY in arab countries. You also seem to assume I'm a christian myself, when indeed I am not. I just feel Islam will be the downfall of this world.

No, you see there is a difference between law and custom. No one get married unless they are 18+. They also have enforced some international laws for marriages.

And if you read correctly Mary was married at 9 years of age. And gave birth at 14.

It's kinda obvious isn't it? I do not need to specific. Most Americans = Christians. Most users = Americans.

No, it isn't at all obvious. Sorry, but this is flawed logic. There is nothing random about the DP sample, such that we can infer it reflects the American population at large, or that any statistic from the American population can be used to draw conclusions about the DP member body.

Presume that most Americans are Christians (for the sake of argument). If more non-Christians than Christians tend to be webmasters, or visit webmaster sites (or the opposite situation obtains), then the sample of DP members will not be reflective of the American population.

This is a specialized forum, and there is nothing inherent to it that allows me to infer anything from the American population when making conclusions re: the DP member body.

So, again: source of your statistic, please?

Sure. Just like I'm free to ask for facts, not opinions. "A majority of DP'ers are Christian" is a definitive statement. I have no religious beliefs, so, I'd like proof. Sam2968 is free to ignore my request for proof, just as you're free to get annoyed by someone asking for proof and facts, over personal opinion.

All right, so are you denying that there are more christian webmasters? or you just want to me to say, "All right I am sorry I couldn't find the exact number of christians in this board."

No, not at all. If you'll read my question again, I'm simply asking for proof supporting your definitive statement that DP is primarily a Christian-member based website.

Okay, my statement is flawed as there is no definitive way of analyzing a member based upon religion. Why not have a poll about it to know it for sure?

We have had a lot of discussions and polls about it. And each time the majority has always been christian (or the break offs)

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=23825&highlight=religious
131 votes - 33% vote christian, the next highest was 18% ahteist.

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/poll.php?do=showresults&pollid=323
    22 votes - 50% vote christian

Not scientific or anything, but you get the point ;)
