Talk to some local businesses and try selling advertising space. You could also try banner advertising.

try to check if ur deep forum pages are being cached by google.. did you build the site from zero or you bought/acquired it from someone else? Asking this, because this is the first time i hear a site has 500 natural in links and the webmaster has no idea how they got there.
