I have a forums duplicate content issue

Some of my members are just using Google to find things on the correct topic to threads in my forum and replying to them by using other peoples content that they find. This can include snippets of parts of info already on the web or complete articles that contain 100 to 200 words.

It's like as if they are working to get as many posts as possible or are bad at English, but are aiming to produce quality written posts by using other peoples content all over the web.

So in other words, they are just copying other peoples content and re-posting it on my forums. Should I remove these members considering that I do not have many active members in the first place, but am more concerned about Googles duplicate penalty issues.

    Please help.

That's pretty much an issue on all forums. If you don't like what their doing simply state it in the rules and if they continue to do so, just warn/infract/ban them. It's hard to control what members post unless you have it stated in the rules as to what they can and can't post ;)

I did have it in the rules, but have put it more clearer. I have started infracting members who do it, but will not ban them unless they keep doing it.
