Use Google Adsense and add some affiliate banners depending on your forum niche.

2000 impressions? LOL, that's nothing for a forum.

Honestly, probably $0.50 a day using Adsense.

Impressions are the best way to see who's looking but you need to convert that. So yeah I would look at affiliate links! Use the most targeted ones for your traffic. 2000 isn't much but its something. I would still use adsense as well as affiliate links. 50c a-day is better then nothing lol if it's growing then do it!!! J
would try theses out and see what works for your niche. I always visit other sites similar and see what they are doing.

Since your niche is boxing related,i would suggest you try to sell your banner ads to the boxing product seller such as the boxing pant maker.

I agree with the boxing affiliate stuff.

If your not making money off of the adsense take it off it’s not worth making your site look trashy for .50 a month. I have to make at least $50. a month to put that ghetto look crap on my sites.

It's very low number of impressions for forum, so I hardly believe you will make money.

However, you can try selling affiliated products/services if your forum is related to some special niches and has targeted audience,

Try to attract more advertisers to cooperate with you.And also you need to make your flows bigger and bigger. When it becomes really popular in boxing area,
you will benefit much from the advertisements.

use the adsense filter to make sure the ads that are showing are ones boxers would look at
and 2k views isn't much at all for a forum

    ^This.

Honestly spending your time worrying about monetizing your forum right now is probably going to be counter productive.

Forums are quite a different animal than an every day website. Putting your efforts in to keeping continued growth would probably be time better spent. Plus if you ONLY have 2k page views a day your forum members will probably appreciate the lack of advertising while the forum is young, thus creating an environment people will want to come back to.

My .02, for what it's worth.

This is some great advice...i don't think my site really warrants having adsense on it so I think I am going to remove it for the time being. At least until I start getting some reasonable amount of traffic.

Very few, I believe... I just checked one of my new forums, it has 8000 daily impressions, and number of unique visitors is 300 every day. So his forum should have no more than 70-100 visitors. So I'd suggest to forget money with this number of visitors.

definately try to grow more. adsense will earn you next to nothing right now and affiliate links will only if you target it towards your niche. since you dont have a large number of visitors, there is less chance affiliate links will earn you money. focusing your time on growing and advertising your forum is much more important than trying to monetize it right now.

dive into some SEO stuff and try to drive more visitors to your site.

Adbrite pays for impressions. You could also try cpc with Adsense.
