I have a dot com site but i want to get it higher on google.co.uk searches - any idea

    Normally user have problem to get rank in .com, but you are the other way round.
    From my experience, to target SERP locally, you need to indicate UK into meta tag, next only get those co.uk site link back to you.

    Sample tag: Furniture shop in uk, travel agency | uk

    It's fine, the .com is now mid page on google.co.uk for search term :)

    1. Submit to social bookmarks.
    2. Submit to article directories.
    3. Ask for review to another bloggers.
    4. Do blog walking, but please do not make any inappropriate content.
    5. If you have enough budget, add your site to google adwords.
