I Have A Domain, Now What? HELP!

    I have two registered domains and I want to use them to promote affiliate links and adsense. The only problem is I know I need to update them with fresh content frequently and I am at a loss with Go Daddys Website tonight program. Everything you do with the site is a royal pain. Is there an easy way to build a website? :confused:

    I am NO expert on affiliates and AdSense, but would suggest using a content management system instead of GoDaddy's Website Tonight program. For example, WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, etc. I would recommend WordPress as there are MANY great plugins available for SEO, AdSense, Banner Management, and even content aggregation. Good luck.

    my mother is blogging with godaddy.
    but if you want to set up your own site using wordpress/joomla/etc then get some cheap hosting (dreamhost, liquidhost, hostgator etc), point your domain there, and use one of the one-click installs to set up a site. It's not very hard.

    Building a website not a hard work, you make it by using DREAMWAVER. You can find a lot of tutorials, just Google it. BUT the main pain is to keep it undated. Everytime when you need to update your website you need to edit the .html files and upload to you server again and again. Believe me its real pain in ass when you do it daily.

    I had also gone through these situation. So better use Wordpress. its the best tool to make your website/Blog and a great thing is its FREE. Its as simile as writing in Microsoft word or any text editor. Besides this it has a lot of SEO tools to reach to the top in GOOGLE. It will bring a lot of traffic to your website/blog and make a lot of money for you.

    I also advice you to get a paid Hosting Service. I know you are thinking of why using a paid hosting service when there are many FREE Hosting provides.It was also my opinion few weeks ago. But after trying a few FREE webhosting I came to know that Paid Hosting has many advantages on free hosting

    * UNLIMITED Hosting Space
    * UNLIMITED BANDWIDTH
    * UNLIMITED Domain Hosting.
    * Excellent Customer Support(24x7)
    * Video tutorial for everything (its very useful if you are new, when I first Sinup for a Hosting service it helped me to do all the jobs painlessly)
    * Comes with a FREE Domain registration
    * $75-100 FREE GOOGLE Adsence/yahoo ad credit
    * MOST IMPORTANT 1 click Wordpress installation.(automation installs wordpress for you)

    All this @ a very low price. I singuped with WebHostingPad one of the best hosting providers a few days ago @ $59.04 for 2 years(includes a FREE Domain and $75 ad credit). WebHostingPad is currently running a Limited time HUGE Discount Offer.

    You can even get 36% more discount. To get this go and first fill all the details then before clicking on Complete Offer try to close the webpage or try to go back, then they will tell you how to get 36% more discount. PLEASE DO it when you are ready to singup and make a account Dont do this as to test the offer. They have a IP tracking system so, If you will not complete the offer, you may not see the discount option @ the time you really want to SingUp. SO SIGNUP NOW

    ALL THE BEST

    Are the two domains that you purchased going to serve the same product line or niche market?

    A few mentors of mine tried to turn me on to GoDaddy's 'Website Tonight'...
    That site builder reminds me of GDI. Now, I have nothing against these programs in general, other than they did not fulfill my needs and they also have very limited functionality.

    WordPress would be a great way for you to promote your affiliate product line and also incorporate AdSense into your content.

    Here's a list of 6 of the best recommended plugins for WordPress to help you get started off right:

    All in One SEO Pack: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/all-in-one-seo-pack/

    Akismet: Already included, you just need to activate the code.

    Google XML Sitemaps: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-sitemap-generator/

    MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/maxblogpress-ping-optimizer/

    ShareThis: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/share-this/

    Subscribe to Comments: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/subscribe-to-comments/

    Just make sure that you read the description and follow the installation procedures, and even look at any available screenshots to familiarize yourself with each plugin that you activate.

    Enjoy!

    The most easiest way to do this is using a blogging platform such as wordpress.
    You can use the auto installer at the Cpanel to install it.
