I have a BANS question

I know that there are a lot of bans users in here, and people respond fairly quickly in here. I am a newbie that is trying to build my first bans site. Everthing is coming together quite nicely, but anytime you click on any of my store or content pages, it takes you to a 404 error page. I am getting really frustrated. I saw three different thins to try in the editor mode, but none of the ideas worked. ANY HELP WILL BE APPRICIATED!!!!

    Thanks,

    Chris:confused:

I've never had that problem, but I would suggest you to ask in the BANS members forum, there's a section designated for BANS installation, you'll probably get a faster response..

I have and I am not getting any responses at all. I have posted three in the last seven hours. I have seen people with similar problems, but they followed people's direction and were able to fix their problems. I have done everyhting that has been mentioned in response to their requests, and none of them have worked for me. I am getting really aggravated...

Sounds like a problem with the .htaccess file. Do you have access to the logs at all? You might want to look at your hosting control panel and make sure mod_rewrite is available for you.

Sharing a link would be helpful, but it does sound like it's .htaccess related as "hanji" mentioned.

If I may ask, who is your host? Some of the hosting providers require special attention with the new BANS version.

If you dont have alot of information already on your sites you could try upgrading to 3.o and downloading the new package. If this doesnt help its most likely a hosting issue....

    hope this helps,

I would echo that it could be a .htaccess issue - possibly if SEF urls are switched on, but your host doesn't cater for them (like Netfirms, for example).
