In my opinion you should update site daily and do not put all the articles at once it will not create a good SEO for you.
Ya hire a seo expert but don't by new articles just ask someone to do it for you. I believe that's quite cheap as compared to getting new ones written. Also if you give bulk orders, you profit more Well i mean ask someone here to be partner in your site and share profit with him. Like ask him to do all rewrite and posting and others thing needed. At the end give 60 70% of profit to him Let say i your site earned 400$(profit) in month even if you give him 250$ (after all he did all work), still yo get 150$ in your pocket. After site started generating constant money with no much work, you can do 50-50 partnership. Just keep your terms before finalizing a deal with anyone. Don't Go For any noob like me for this contract. Hire someone who is professional having some running websites else you both may end up earning nothing.

Why don't you just set up a URL and drip feed the articles in/do some promotion and see what happens. You aren't realistically going to pay someone to modify thousands of articles so what you basically have is a heap of PLR articles sitting on your hard drive. Dean
