Start a blog in high paying niche and monetize it. Post blog post regularly. Do not depend on using PPC ad programs like Adsense with it, Try to promote affiliate products/services via your blog. With the time you can get a decent income. You do not need 600$ for this.
Here's an Idea. Buy a Website that is already started like a Link Directory or a Joke or Video site. In fact We have all three for sale if interested PM me. We have no time for further development in them and they can use a good owner pagerank's are PR1 - PR3. Join adsense and Monetize the site you are planing to start / get / buy. Don't fall for those I can double you money or I will give you a get money making idea for X amount of $s.

I'll suggest that you invest your $600 in something that will bring in passive or residual income. What comes to my mind now is writing eBooks for the Kindle. You don't need $600 to do it. You could even do it for free if you are willing to do the writing yourself. If however you want to use a ghostwriter, you should budget between $200 to $300, depending on where you hire him from and some other factors. You can then enroll your eBook in Kindle Select and use it to your advantage. I am assuming you know how to go about doing this. All the best!

Do you know anything about marketing online? are you looking to actually do some work or have the press button system? You can easily build a biz with the $600. Create products and get software to help leverage your systems. Sorry I don't know your experience, so I'm not sure how in depth to get. Someone said buying a site and leveraging.. that is a pretty good idea, but I suggest one that you may enjoy putting some work into.
Consider making a site that you can make money with. A blog is not a site to make money with ( not saying you can't ). I would suggest a script for affiliate marketing. Also look for something automated for content so that your work will be minimum after starting the project.
