Take you 3K and go to school on line, Business or some Computer class. If you have more then 6 months of free time try the Old School Programs.

3k on beer and women, thats like 1 dollar in a candy store when you was 5 years old, it wont last long.

    Good Luck

mate, I know this horse has been beat into the ground around here but you can always make a popular site like proxies, image hosts, etc. Proxies is my niche and they are always in demand. They come and go so quick, people always need new ones. You can definitely make some short term income, and if you stick with it you can make long term income. Fluxes some, but I made $700 profit from my proxies last month and I am on track to do more this month. I even have a guide that is free that will take you through step by step on how to make proxies. Have a look if you like:

    http://www.buildaproxy.com

You could alternatively make some proxy sites, make a few hundred a month passive income and then use that as a spring board to get onto other sites. Total investment should be no more then $175 to get several proxies started and that would cover 2 months of hosting. (since adsense and others only pay once a month) after the first two months your proxies should carry them selves. You would be able to make back your $175 quickly too. I did an experiment with a new proxy I started this week, and I did very very minmal advertising, and I made $10 in the first 3 days and have almost 700 visitors on the third day. I didn't spend any money on the advertising just some time. That way you can be back at where you started with all of you money made back and sites that carry themselves and make a profit.

    Anyway, my two cents.

honestly, you just need $100 to start and put the business on top if you have the guts. If you dont have lust or solid business plan, $3k wont be necessary. I am not discouraging you but i would suggest you to spend just a small amount $500 for the start and see how it goes...

Thats my 10cents. Unless you start and experiment with it you dont know for sure about the business, whether it will succeed or not. Take my case, i have started many many sites with different dreams and just couldnt make it. What i had never thought would work worked for me. Out of 10 businesses i started i failed almost 6 ones. Although i am disappointed with this i am atleast happy that i have failed trying.

    Good luck!

Buy scripts with resale rights and try to resell them!
Even if you resell them for cheaper, you get more, as more people will be interested for cheap ;)
    haha..

Invest the money in CD for a year. Do some research on something you'd be interested in doing. After doing research, educate yourself in that topic. After a year take the money out... yes you will only make a couple hundred but its more than you had. Use the money to develop something that your research shows will prove profitable.

In my opinion you should buy an established site, and find a way to learn as much things as possible.
