If you can spend 4 hours a day promoting I would start a free web hosting service.
Look at sites like 110mb.com, zymic.com and others = all makes great income from giving out free hosting.
A LP license + setup will cost 140-200$ and the rest can go to a nice VPS or dedicated for it.

I am also in a biz that even if I do nothing I will start getting bonus in 18 months just for purchasing a product..although I started getting a bonus from the 4th month plus commissions. This is thew MLM dream and will be like a pension for me as it is great to get paid to be healthy.

 

Whatever you do , Try to split the investment in multiple projects

 

Good advice. Think of something that you enjoy and look for a way to make money from it. $500 is not enough to buy a site earning any significant income so you'll need to work to get it there + if it's not something you're interested in you'll most likely lose steam. I like games so I run a games website!

 

Always split up your investments and play to your strengths.

You seem to be cautious about code, have you thought about a webhosting account? It's really neccessary, and a good domain. Just put up a few wordpress blogs(easily installed in three steps with cPanel hosts) and you don't even HAVE to worry about code, if you don't want to.

 

My advice is to keep the money for now and keep saving, you seem to be afraid of coding, learn a bit about xhtml, css and php. Explore the niches out their and find out something which interest, then you'll know on your own what to do with your savings.

 

you can start a paid blogging service if you want. buy yourself an adsense rich wordpress theme and hire bloggers (like me ) to write interesting articles about different topics. this way you can ensure a steady income from adsense.

 

I would suggest make blogs, sites and fill with original resources... and spend the rest on marketing the blog to earn various revenues.... like adsense,cpc,cpa etc..,
