    Sounds about average for a run of the mill wallpaper site. The trick is to get wallpapers depicting products, and write small descriptions for the wallpapers that give Adsense something to work with. For instance, if you have categories for brand logos like Pepsi, Apple, Nike, etc, you'll get ads for products like that. Instead of say some generic 3D wallpaper that takes you a few minutes to even think of words to describe.

    Basically, try to stick with wallpapers that depict real, tangible goods that someone is actually selling.

    I believe that GEO is much more important than niche.

    I do not imagine a niche that, lets say, with Indian traffic can earn a ~1$ per click.
    And opposite - with tear 1 traffic you have a chance to get some ~1$+ click for almost any niche.

    (p.s. Im not going offtopic - im about wallpapers!)

    OP, whats your main traffic GEO?
    Or, to be more exact, what country clicks you get on your adsense on your wallpapers site?

    It really depends on where your traffic comes from. If traffic is generally Asian, then you will really expect low CPC.
