I have about $2K on hand, and instead of going to the trouble of making a bunch of websites and writing pages and pages of content, I want to instead use the money I have to purchase a website that is making money with passive or residual income, such as Google Adsense. Also, I'd be willing to hire someone to make one website for me and tell me everything they did so that I'd be able to automate the process from there on out by myself. Any suggestions (or takers lol)?
I was thinking about going the Wordtracker long-tail keyword route, ie, building sites around those, so it doesn't really matter the content (as long as it's legal and also not pornographic), just as long as it's more or less guaranteed to earn income given proper promotion. For example: I have a keyword from WT: "game cheats for ps2" A site is build around that with a few pages of content Proper promotion (fuzzy area) Also, rather than build a few websites with hundreds of pages of content, I'm thinking of building many websites with a few pages (10-20?) of content. Mainly, I'd just need someone to help me build the first website, giving me the low-down as far as what they did specifically with respect to the technical side of promotion as it applies to such a type of website, and then I'd be able to take it from there.
I might have a content site I will sell due to lack of time. If I were you, I would go the fewer sites with more pages route. Gives you more time for promotion on each site. It's best to do things properly instead of half assed.

Really I will never understand why peoples buy another peoples sites for about 10-12months rev, If For that money they could start their own site and even much better! For example I have never spent On making a website, Ok only domain,host,and if you are not good designer than hire a designer and programmer if needed, In one word saying IT WONT COST YOU THAT MUCH AS WHEN YOU WILL BUY ALREADY MADE SITE. I have made about 6websites in last 3months which After some time as 1-2months I sell for over $5000 each, and why peoples buy them I DONT KNOW! yes they are earning good money but they could start better for that money their own site.But Of course for me it's good that there is someone who want to buy them for such a price. Anyway I need some more money to buy some upgrades for dedicated servers for my upcoming project, and I'm looking for some job. If you would be interested For such a budget I could build for you up a site what will earn you fixed and stable ~$30-$40daily from adsense, and would teach for you also how I do it and what to do if you want to build also sites for you.

Its good to build your own website .. and invest that amount in publicity of that website .. who knows u get a better website for that !!
